THE STAFF
Ivy Young – Co-Chair
She/Her
2027 will be my fourth year at YES, and my second on staff. I am a college student studying Classics, but grew up in UU spaces. YES has become a second home to me, and I look forward to cultivating that experience for others.

I have been coming to the YES conference since 2022 I have been on staff for 3 years and really excited to have been elected co-chair this year. YES is such an awesome and special community to be proud of. Star Island is a special place for me and my Unitarian Universalist spirit. I grew up in Vermont, but now I am spending most of my time in Colorado cross country skiing, while training for the Para Olympics.

They/Them
is this year's Programming Director and Chair Emeritus of 2025. They are a Communication and Film Major at Curry College Class of 29'. They have been coming to Star since they were 5 years old, and now all of their siblings have attended at least once. Fun fact is they are the Assistant General Manager of Curry College Theatre.
Will- Music Director
He/Him
Although this will only be my second year coming to the YES conference and my first year on staff, I have been coming to Star since I was born and this will be my 18th consecutive year! I am going into senior year of high school, and music is my biggest passion. This position is relatively new, and so there’s not much precedent, but hopefully I can help make an impact on everyone who comes, and make your experience even more special than mine was last year.

Hi! I am one of the co-worship coordinators for YES 2027 and am so excited to be a part of staff this year as it will be my third at both YES and Star Island. I am currently a senior in high-school and looking forward to my upcoming years in college and working as a pelican on Star Island. A fun fact about me is that I have lived by the ocean my whole life!

Hi! This will be my third year at YES, and my first year on staff. I am a senior in high school, and I will be going to school to become a genetic engineer. I’ve been UU and coming to Star since I was born, but YES was the first conference I ever attended. I'm excited to use my role to bring new people into this amazing community and help them feel just as welcomed as I do! A fun fact about me is that I'm also the captain of my school's mock trial team – I love to debate.
Our Other staff will be updated soon!
